Peru.

The project’s brief was to conduct a documentation about an interesting topic, with the purpose of graphically visualising this research. The topic chosen was a political crisis that led to massive protests in Peru and the documentation was done through digital collection of images, videos and testimonies. An opportunity to experiment with an unfamiliar medium. For that reason developing my typography skills was the aim of this book.

Expressive type.

Expressing through text. Considering scale, boldness, shape and grouping of the words, allowing the typographic elements to be bigger or thicker depending on the message you wanted to deliver with them.  The goal was to create a different composition for each page, for each story by selecting the images that would represent better the message that the text was expressing too.
